MSc
Department of Plant Science MSc Program
Students that qualify for the admission in the M.Sc program shall generally hold a bachelor degree in the specified areas with a cumulative GPA of 2.00 and above. However, priority will be given for those with best academic performance during their undergraduate studies. Besides the entrance exams, work experience after graduation will also be considered as a plus for the selection of candidates.
- Applicants with BSc in Forestry, Natural Resources Management and wildlife management :
Are directly academically qualified for admission to the M.Sc Programme depending on the courses taken during their undergraduate programs. However, upon individual assessment of the candidates transcript, the respective DGC may decide if qualification brush-up courses are required.
- Applicants with BSc or BA in biology and other related fields of studies
Are admitted after an individual academic assessment to check the relevance of the course taken in their BSc study. Depending on the decision of the admission committee, applicants in this category shall take 6-9 credit hours basic forestry courses from the BSc program as a requirement. The bridging courses that should be taken by the candidates shall be decided by the DGC up on examination of the individual candidates‟ BSc transcripts.
- Selection and prioritization of applicants
