About the Program
The Plant Protection masters program has the objectives of producing competent and potential plant protection experts who could assume professional positions in the fields of: Higher education teaching and research; Plant pathogens and insect-pets management; detections and diagnosis of plant pathogens and insect- pests; pathological and entomological researches; agricultural extension and research linkage and sustainable agricultural development.
The program

train and qualify Plant Protection experts competent in identifying and managing plant diseases and other insect-pests using environmentally safe procedures.

equip graduates with the necessary tools to undertake research in all fields of Plant Protection with strong theoretical knowledge and practical skill activities.

train graduates on how to collect, analyze, interpret communicate and present their research findings in seminars, workshops and scientific publications.

acquire entrepreneurial skills for use in creating employment opportunities.

Admission requirements

BSc in plant sciences, agricultural sciences, biological sciences and closely related fields

Passing entrance qualification examination
Graduation requirements
To be eligible for graduation all the master candidates must fulfill:

Min. 28 credit hours of course work

Six credit hours of research work

A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.00.
