The master program of Agricultural Economics has the objectives of to produce trained professionals in Agricultural Economics, conduct research activities, produce research results that are relevant to the society, and engage in community service activities. It is a two‐year program with 30 Credit hours course work and supervised original research thesis (6 credit hours) work.

Admission requirements
BSC/BA Agricultural Economics. Candidates with background in Rural Development and Agricultural Extension, Mathematics, Plant/Crop Science, Horticulture, and Animal Science and any other closely related fields (candidates with other than agrieconomics background will take bridging courses)
Passing entrance qualification examination
Graduation requirements
To be eligible for graduation all the master candidates must fulfill:
Min. 30 credit hours of course work
Six credit hours of research work
A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.00.
