criteria for Forest Management and
utilization MSC program
ü Generally,
an applicant shall hold a bachelor degree in specified areas with a cumulative
GPA of 2.00
ü BSc
degree in forestry
ü BSc
degree in natural resource management but shall take at least 6-9 credit hours
forestry courses during his/her BSc.
ü BSc
or BA in related fields of studies but shall take at
least 6-9 credit hours forestry courses during his/her BSc/BA

MSC program
ü Generally,
an applicant shall hold a bachelor degree in specified areas with a cumulative
GPA of 2.00 and above
ü BSc
in Forestry, Natural Resources Management and wildlife management
ü BSc
or BA in biology and other related fields of studies but shall take at least 6-9 credit hours
forestry courses during his/her BSc/BA

criteria for Agroforestry MSC
program
ü
Generally,
an applicant shall hold a bachelor degree in specified areas with a cumulative
GPA of 2.00 and above

BSc
in Agroforestry, Forestry, Natural Resources Management, Plant Science,
Horticulture and biology

BSc
or BA in biology and other related fields of studies but shall take at least
6-9 credit hours basic Agroforestry and forestry courses during his/her BSc/BA

program
ü
Generally,
an applicant shall possess a master’s degree in the specified areas with a
cumulative ‘very good ‘and ‘excellent’ grade for their masters’ thesis.
ü
MSc
in Forestry
ü MSc in Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, and Rural Sociology but shall take 6‐9 credit hours forestry of courses in rural development and related MSc program.
